Alkanza Inc. (“Alkanza”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) is a software based Investment Advisor registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, providing automated online wealth management via partnerships with global financial institutions.

Alkanza offers an investment management service (“Service”) through its Web based platform (“Site”) and/or mobile application (“App”). Alkanza also integrates with all of our partners’ existing web and mobile properties including customer/client portals and maintain our partners’ look and feel. This Privacy Policy describes how Alkanza will manage your Personal Information when you use or evaluate our Site, the App and/orService.

What we collect from you

The information we collect depends on what type of user you are. If you are a visitor of our Site or are testing our App for simulating an investment portfolio or if you are a Client or Partner, we will collect different types of information. The main difference is that as a visitor, we do not save other information than statistics of use and the information necessary for simulations.

As a formal Client or Partner there is information necessary to operate your portfolio. As a Visitor of our web site we get:

  • Information needed to carry out statistics of visitors (web analytics)

If a visitor runs a simulation of an investment portfolio, we get:

  • Questions related to plan creation
  • Internet Protocol source address (IP)

When a Client that wants to simulate or test our App creates an account, then we get:

  • Name, Last name, Email (we encrypt login credentials)
  • Questions related to plan creation
  • Internet Protocol source address (IP)

For a Client that wants to implement a portfolio plan with one of our broker partners in an automated way, we need to create an account for her/him and store the credentials’ details.

In case to be a Partner that consume our Service, we do store Personal Information of our Partners' Clients, just the information needed to operate like:

  • Name, Last name, Email
  • Source IP Address
  • Last login
  • Platform details, web browser, location, language
  • Access and authorization tokens

In some situations, if the App fails, we can get platform information for debugging purpose, this information may include, but not limited to, the following items:

  • Platform details: Architecture, Operating System version, web browser, free disk space (on mobile version)
  • App details: version, point of failure

How are we using the information collected from you

In general, we are using the information collected from you for:

  • Data Science, research, internal analysis, and analytics
  • Statistics of use
  • Service Improvements
  • To notify our Clients of any changes to our website, Services or goods and products.s: version, point of failure

We use our Clients' Personal Information to provide our Service to Clients and client support. We may share information with our brokerage partners to provide Services related to portfolio implementation.

At Alkanza we have a way that you can use to opt out the uses we do to your Personal Information but if you are going to decline us the authorization of use of your Personal Information, it may disqualify you to be a Client.
